In this role, you will work with groups of software engineers in developing the graphical user interface, 2D and 3D image processing engine software, and AI based object detection engine. You will be designing and implementing the software modules that identifies objects from given 2D images and 3D models and develop multiple stages of 2D and 3D model processing software pipeline. While working on this, you will have chances working on the common software architecture, GPU based image and data processing pipeline, visualization of models, AI based object detection, and software life cycle management. If you are self-motivated, cooperative, organized and eager to be a the master of end to end SW product design, this job will be the best match for you.

You will be part of the core team of Computer Vision engineers in our new R&D center in Vancouver, Canada. We will be developing a new Machine Vision Library in Modern C++ to be used internally in a wide range of Machine Vision sensors and products, involving 2D/3D metrology and inspection. As a Senior C++ Developer, you will have the chance to contribute to the design and architecture of a modern library at an early stage, as well as building a high-performance infrastructure to run Computer Vision and AI algorithms.

In this exciting role, you will work together with UX team in South Korea and hold the responsibility in FDA clearance for the neurosurgery robot, Kymero, with usability and human factor documentation and participate risk management review board. Kymero provides robotic solution for stereotactic surgery with increased probability of successive operations by applying an optimized operation process. It also features highly accurate and reliable 3D vision sensor-base guide system and improves surgical satisfaction through structural stability of the guide system.
